Choengmon Beach nort of Chaweng is a very pretty cove called Choengmon Beach. It is a wide crescent of white sand and a perfect spot for families and honeymooners seeking pece and quiet. Some good restaurants and a few shops on the road. Across from the beach is Faan Yai Island, which can be reached on foot at low tide. There are no noisy pubs or clubs, although at night the restaurants spread out onto the sands transforming the whole beach into a romantic dining area.
